Silence – poem

Every morning I take a dose of

the silence that binds us,

which wears off by evening,

leaving me only with

the distance that separates us.

*

I take silence,

to bend time, while continuing

breathing away this existence,

among other existences

past and to come, in one of which

you won’t pick distance,

and I’ll pour out my heart,

and you will want to fall

together with me into

the infinite abyss of love.

*

Myriads of destruction

wait ahead of us,

paving our way towards

our harmful, indolent,

selfish selves, which

neutralize each other

into constructive passion.
