All you need is love-poem

All you need is love

in an American dream,

in a Polish winter you can’t

just live of love.

All you need is love

in the Empire States,

but Pałac Kultury

wasn’t built with love.

All you need is love

when you’re the one leaving;

when you’re the one who stays

love is not enough.

All you need is love

when you break in shooting,

but when you’re unprepared

you need more than love.

All you need is love

when you have good stuff,

but love is not as strong

as an overdose of reality.

Love is all you need

when you have it all,

when you’ve missed some meals,

love is not so appetizing.

“Love is all you need”,

sing it to the orphan,

or the cheap prostitute,

“all you need is love”.
