Lost- poem

Lost you lost me,

among waves, your wave

was lost and lost me,

like a salty rain tear

the sea can’t save.

My loss, you lost me,

no bet, no gain,

a fleeting moment

that chose to linger

without glory or pain.

Loss, you lost me,

those to die salute you,

but if you play the game,

play it all along

with good sports that suit you.

You lost my loss,

it’s what you come across

when someone lost before,

you emptied my emptiness,

gave me loss for loss.
