Romance- poem

Every token of love, every twig you bring to our nest

from your daily flights around the indomitus Earth,

every single time you think of me in the solitude

of the unbounded expanse of your existence

is romance.

Every word you spend trying to explore

the recondite caverns of my mind,

every seed of future you sow in our field,

every dawn you project in our album

is romance.

Everything that resembles you is romance,

though nothing can quite resemble you,

every time I write a verse,

and every time I throw away my pen

to prance around with you.
