Empires fall from within,

and every single revolution

started in someone’s head.

But what about the rebellion

against myself

and the way my dictatorship

hinders my freedom.

If I depose myself and start anew

dictating the rules of the game,

just after I wrote a poem

or had a good morning’s sleep,

why should I slow down

and travel more slowly

than the speed of life.
